The
Roaring
Fork Home Energy Makeover Workshop & Expo
will
provide education with a product exposition for about 100-300 Roaring Fork
Valley area homeowners, renters, and landlords interested in
energy/water efficiency, smart meters, demand response, and renewable
energy. On Saturday, October 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., an agenda filled
with 15-minute presentation topics may include:,
weatherization/insulation, green home building/remodeling, water
heating, space heating/cooling, solar energy, windows, lighting,
time-of-use rates, etc. Snacks, refreshments and door prizes will be
provided to those who purchase $10 admission tickets in advance from
participating non-profit community groups or $15 admission tickets will
be sold at the door. All admission ticket revenue will go to
participating non-profit groups.

All events will take place at the
Aspen Meadows Resort in Aspen, Colorado, home to the Aspen Institute.

Role and Responsibilities.
City
of Aspen Utilities and others will be our co-hosts and lead the agenda advisory
committee efforts. The Agenda Advisory Committee will be comprised of
event sponsors and other invited stakeholders who will meet via
conference call to review the presentation submissions and suggestions.
UtilityExchange.org will handle all event logistics.
